Trump’s warning to Nikki Haley : Former US President Donald Trump’s another verbal attack against his Republican presidential rival Nikki Haley, declaring that anyone who supports her campaign financially will be permanently expelled from the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement.
In a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’, Trump stated, “Anyone who contributes to Birdbrain’s campaign will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We prioritize America first, and that will never change!”
He also noted (Trump’s warning to Nikki Haley) a common political practice where donors from the losing side often switch their support to the winner but emphasized that he no longer follows this norm.
In response, Haley took to a micro-blogging site, challenging Trump’s stance by urging supporters to donate to her cause.
Trump’s latest criticism of Haley follows his significant victory in the New Hampshire primary, where he secured an 11-point lead over his former UN Ambassador rival. This win bolsters his efforts to broaden his support base within the GOP.
Despite significant backing from major GOP donors, Haley faced defeat in New Hampshire.
During a rally in South Carolina, Haley announced a remarkable surge in campaign funds, revealing that her team had amassed $1 million in small-dollar donations within a single night.
She highlighted the grassroots support behind her campaign, noting contributions from 200,000 donors across all 50 states, with 90% of donations totaling $200 or less.
