Adani Ports: Adani Ports, a company of Adani Group, has appointed a new auditor. According to the company, MSKA & Associates Chartered Accountants has been appointed as the new auditor of Adani Port and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ). This appointment comes after the recent resignation from the post of Deloitte’s auditor.
Deloitte Company was associated with Adani Ports for a long time. Deloitte was acting as the statutory auditor of APSEZ since May 2017. In July 2022, Deloitte’s contract was extended for 5 years. However, the issue of resignation from the post of auditor came to the fore after a meeting between Deloitte and Adani’s company. MSKA & Associates will now handle the auditorship of the company.
Agreed to resign with mutual consent
Deloitte has decided to resign from its position as the statutory auditor of Adani Ports. There was a meeting between the two in this matter and they agreed to resign with mutual consent. The company clarified that the appointment of the new auditor does not include recommendations for other listed Adani portfolio companies.

Deloitte says, according to Gopal Krishna Pillai, chairman of the audit committee, Adani Ports has given all the information. Deloitte has also mentioned this in his resignation letter dated 12th August. Deloitte said in its resignation that the company had provided all necessary information regarding the financial year 2023.
